-In my first middle school class, one of my students who is a huge Shawol (SHINee’s fanclub? Really? Could they not think of a better name? That is exactly the noise my asthmatic grandmother makes when she sneezes!) seemed absolutely fine one minute and flew into a rage the next.
“Lisa, what’s the answer to number 6?”
“ARRRRRRGGGGHHH! *flips her desk over, starts stabbing her pencil case feriously with a pair of scissors. “I HATE HER!!!!!! SHE WILL DIEEEEEE!!!! I WILL KILL HER HEAD!!!!!”
At his point, I was terrified. Her eyes were bloodshot, she looked possessed, and she was FREAKING THE F*CK OUT. I have never seen a kid behave like that before. The rest of the class was laughing. Which, of course, only exacerbated her behavior. Perfect. I ran to get the secretary, who arrived just in time to see her ripping up her textbook and throwing the pieces on the floor while silently crying. The secretary spoke to her for a moment, and then laughed and patted her on the shoulder.
“Ohhh, don’t worry! She only is upset… for SHINee girlfriend. She want to kill SHINee’s girlfriend! Don’t worry about her, she will be ok!”
“… she flipped her desk over and started stabbing everything in sight! She’s freaking out! I can’t deal with this!”
“No, she’s ok! Just ignore her!”
“…ok…”
…Lol the younger K-Shawols seem to be the only ones freaking out over this. I have yet to see anyone in the international fandom be anything other than supportive, rly.
Haha, yesssssss, I ran into Sunny today and, even though she’s a Minho stan, I gleefully was all, “SUNNY DID YOU HEAR ABOUT JONGHYUN AND HOW HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND, MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.”
Sunny promptly threw her notebook down and yelled, “I HATE HER. I HATE HER I HATE HER I HATE HER.” In the middle of the foyer. With all the other students in complete confusion.
I cackled and told her that at least Minho was single — FOR NOW. This caused her to make whining noises and pout and stomp around.
Mwahahahahahaha.
